After using Skokie Valley Laundry one time my mother told me never to go anywhere else! I haven't and I have never been disappointed.

They have been coming to my house once a week for fifteen years now. They do a great job with my dry cleaning. If there is a spot I will leave them a note and sure enough they treat it and goes away like magic. They also nicely wash and press my sheets for me. Pressed sheets is a habit that my mom gave to me. Lastly I always have them hand wash my fine linen table cloths and napkins. I do have to tell them to lay off the starch on these. If I don't they come back too stiff and lie properly on the table.

Conveniently, they now will do an auto charge for me once a month on my credit card so I don't have to remember to send it in.

The place is a throwback on the inside and they do a great job with my shirts and suits.
I like little to no starch, and they always get it right. Good service, great location in downtown Highwood.
